| Dear Friends: Raja Ravi Varma created Oleographs from his presses between 1894 to 1910 -and these made him famous through most popular Laxmi and Saraswati prints all over India. More than 1000 different Oleographs were printed through his presses and these are now antiques and available only either in Flea markets thrown by people who do not recognise that these are of antique value, or with art collectors like me who save them from getting lost. These oleographs were printed in sizes starting from Post Card size Picture Postcards of 3"x5" to 5"x7", 7"x10", 10"x14", 14"x20" and 20" x30' and some in 24"x36" sizes.
